In Seam Pockets

The Book says, “The In-seam pocket is sewn into a seam and cannot be seen when the garment is worn.”

And to make them, you need some kidney-shaped pieces out of lining. Two, just like kidneys.

Pin one pocket/kidney to each the front and the back piece of the garment matching side seamline raw edges, right sides together.

And then sew those on along the length of the pocket

With garment pieces out of the way, pin pockets together, matching raw edges, right sides together. IMG_5806
Sew starting at the top, above the pocket, on the garment seam line, down around the curve of the pocket, cutting over and across the bottom opening edge of the pocket, then back down the seamline of the garment

Clip the corners at the pockets to open the seam allowance
