It’s Kids Clothes Week Fall!
I’m only going to be home for two days this week, but I’m not going to let that stop me from enjoying the fun! This morning I sewed up a little Maggie Mae designed by Shwin Designs (affiliate links). I’ve been in love with this pattern for a while. The curve of the yoke,
The contrasting band across the bottom,
The adorably simple button-up back.
It’s little-girl-fashion perfection.
I used some Little Pigs Nursery Versery by Heather Ross from Michael Levine in a soft grey linen blend. Paired with the print is a solid brown linen from Jo-Ann Stores.
The buttons are some vintage from my mom’s stash.
Maggie Mae is a simple, quick sew. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. There are no sleeves, but with a little sweater, this Maggie Mae is ready for fall.
Ivy’s is a bit big for her through the shoulders, but that just means she’ll get to wear it a lot longer, right?!
