a challenge, a girl’s night, and a contest!

Do you know what next week is?  DO YOU? 
Well, first, there’s a little somethun-somethun called Kids Clothes Week Challenge.

 

I have a list of projects as long as my arm, and a stack of fabric and patterns to match.   I’m hoping to have everything sketched, traced, prewashed, and cut out by Monday.  In reality, I’ll be lucky to actually have all my supplies located and in one place, but I’m being optimistic.  I’ll be Tweeting, Facebooking, and Instagramming my progress, or at least my excuses for lack of progress all next week.  Good times, good times.

And then, at the end of the week, it’s the Sewing Summit!!!

BUT!
I am super beyond excited to get to participate in JoAnn’s Girl’s Night Out Blogger Get Together on Friday, October 12th.

Basically, Jessica from Me Sew Crazy is amazing and put together a super fun night for some incredible sewing and craft bloggers, and me, who will be in town to meet up and join forces. 

We’ll all be on Instagram and Twitter sharing the fun so you can all be part of it, too.  And not only that, but you get to join in using the hashtag #getinonthefun and chat along with some of your favorite bloggers, and me, in real time.  AND! There’s even a contest for you to win some really incredible prizes that night. So yeah, a ton to look forward to next week!  I can’t wait to see and be inspired by what everyone else is whipping up for the kids in their lives with KCWC.  And then the icing on the Awesome Sewing Week Cake will be playing along with you all during the JoAnn’s Girl’s Night Out Blogger Get Together on Friday!
