where’ve I been all your life?

Holy crumb! time is flying by.  I keep meaning to get something together to post, but then the sun sets on another day and it just doesn’t happen. So what’s occupying my time, since I’ve obviously not been sewing?

Mostly thisIMG_3006Though sometimes she lets me get away with thisphotoI’m not complaining.  But cradling a seven-week-old  doesn’t really make for easy sewing or blogging.  Thanks to Christie volunteering to hold a certain someone all afternoon for me, I did get the machine out yesterday and crossed a couple of projects off my list.  I was surprised how much I missed sewing, once I got started on something again.  So as long as I can keep luring people to my home with the promise of cuddling a sweet baby, maybe I’ll actually have a completed project to share again someday.IMG_7347

Anyone want to sign up for tomorrow?

Hi there! What a cutie you have!!! I'm expecting my second baby in May and I think I will be missing a lot of sewing... the thing is that the sewing machine will look exactly the same as I left it whenever I get the chance to get back to it. However, our babas will change and you don't really want to be missing that!!!
Enjoy your princess and there will always time to sew again.

Ha! I a reading this post with a baby on my lap. We understand a blog hiatus after baby births :) She's adorable, btw.

She's precious!
I'm so jealous because my little girl is 4-1/2 months and my sewing machine still hasn't seen the light of day. :(
Oh well when you have something adorable to play with I guess crafting and sewing don't seem as important as they once did!

I will cuddle the CRAP out of the baby on June 11, which is when we are coming to Utah. Hope she's treating you well! Miss your posts!

You look fantastic already--wow I hope I lose my baby weight that fast. Have fun cuddling (she's the one you'd be sewing for anyway and for now I think she's getting what she really wants anyway:)) enjoy you two.

Could you bring her here? We're just down the road a bit. And I'd love to cuddle her.

man, she is a cutie and you look fabulous! I don't know about you, but since this is my last baby, I say forget the sewing machine and computer, I've got a baby to hold! :) I do miss it though. Maybe we should do some kind of coordinated blog project since we both have little girls born on the same day...

ps: I got 5 hours of sleep last night!! how are you doing?

Oh she is so beautiful. I can't blame you for spending more time with her than your sewing machine. So precious.
