Zipper Day

Okay, the zipper practice is up. Not lessons, practice. I really am not sure anyone is going to get anything beneficial out of what I did today. Well, the first couple are okay. But Fly-Front zippers are not my friends. So I guess that's my assignment: to practice some of those more. Weeee. I have an idea of a project that uses a zipper, but it's not a Fly-Front, so I'm not sure if I'll do it this week or not. I need to look through my sketches and patterns and see if I can come up with something that requires me to meet my fears head on. But for now, I'm putting away my machine and my zippers, because honestly, I'm a little sick of them. CURSE YOU, FLY FRONT ZIPPERS!!!!

I just found your blog yesterday and may I say...
I am TOTALLY in love with your blog! Mostly because I am doing the same thing! I am tired of all of my creations looking "home made" because I never "quite" learned how to sew. THANKS for all your tutorials and for the courage you've given me to do the same thing! My husband bought me a HUGE sewing book and I've been too terrified to open it more than look at the pretty pictures, but I think I will make a project out of each of the "lessons" so THANK YOU for the great idea!
