Good day for the thrifty

My two youngest and I went out on a shopping adventure today.  Rumor had it that our rural area is home to two fabric stores, neither of which I had ever been to in the five years we've lived here.  The thrift store was on the way, so we pulled in there on a whim.
It was providence.
-1 big box of Legos
-1 diecast six-shooter capgun we've been looking for
-10 awesome vintage patterns
total cost: $6.50

I think I'm most excited about this pattern

I love the design in the middle

Riding high on my bargain finds, we did eventually find the fabric stores.  Though not the best or biggest selections, after quite of bit of digging through bolts, I did find pretty much exactly what I wanted.  In the clearance bin.
Now I'm all set to start on my bias tape assignment.
Right after I go disinfect some cheap Legos.

How are you going to clean the Legos? My MIL just brought over two massive tins (double bottle wine tins from the early 1970s) full of my husband's legos that haven't seen light in 30 years.

Awesome finds!

Beth, I just poured them out, sprayed Lysol and called it good. Super cool your Mother In Law saved all those Legos.
